| Carla Fields - Receptionist
Carla worked as a Right of Way Agent and Electrical Construction Designer for NSTAR until retirement in June of 2002. She then moved to New Hampshire from Cape Cod and began working part time at SAC. Carla jokes that she has to get her "puppy time" in each day, and she is not just kidding. Her laugh is contagious and we can always find her if there is a litter of puppies in the building. She likes working in her retirement "helping all ages of animals, kittens and puppies to mature adults. This has been my dream job, I always told my friends that I would pat puppies for a living when I retired and that's just what I'm doing." Carla makes each patient feel at ease, and tries to act as a surrogate mother when they're in the hospital. When she is not at SAC she divides her time between a husband and Daisy (lab), Biskit (lab) and Diesel (lab). |
